Pizza Parma × TRU

A stone-oven pizzeria in Hockenheim, Germany, serving its community since 2011. Until now, the only way to order Pizza Parma online was a single delivery platform that takes 13% of every order. We are launching their own ordering system on TruPortals: a bilingual website, pickup and delivery ordering, live order tracking, and every ticket printing straight in the kitchen. Same great pizza, no 13% cut, and every customer on Pizza Parma’s own list.

The Challenge

One platform, 13% of every order.

Pizza Parma has been baking in a stone oven in Hockenheim since 2011, delivering across Hockenheim, Reilingen, Neulußheim and Altlußheim. But online, they only existed on one ordering platform, and that platform charged 13% on every order. Worse, the platform owned the customer. Pizza Parma could not see who ordered, could not invite them back, and could not run their own specials. For a busy pizzeria, that is a big overhead on the one channel that keeps growing.
The Solution

Their own ordering system, built for the kitchen.

We built Pizza Parma a new website at pizza-parma.com in German and English, and set them up on TruOrder, our own ordering platform. The full menu, from pizzas and calzone to schnitzel, casseroles, salads and drinks, is loaded and ready, with pricing in euros and a minimum order for delivery. Guests order pickup or delivery straight from the site and track their order live. In the shop, the team sees every order on one screen, moves it from received to preparing to out for delivery with a tap, and the ticket prints right in the kitchen. Every order flows into Pizza Parma’s own CRM, so the customer list finally belongs to the restaurant.

  • New website at pizza-parma.com, in German with an English version
  • Order pickup and order delivery buttons front and center
  • Real photos of the shop, the kitchen and the food
  • Built to rank locally for pizza in Hockenheim and nearby towns
02 / TruOrder Ordering

  • Delivery to the four towns they serve, with a €20 minimum order

03 / Kitchen & Operations

Built for a busy pizza counter

  • Every order on one screen, pickup and delivery side by side
  • One tap to move an order from received to preparing to out for delivery
  • Tickets print straight in the kitchen
  • A full view of deliveries, so nothing gets lost on a Friday night
04 / Customer Ownership

Every order builds their list

  • Customer names and order history stay with the restaurant, not a platform
  • Foundation for specials, loyalty offers and win-back messages
  • Clear data on what sells, when, and to whom
What’s Next

Launching soon, and just getting started.

Pizza Parma is in final setup and launching soon. The plan after launch is simple: move regular customers from the platform to ordering direct, starting with the people who already love the pizza. Every order that moves over keeps 13% in the restaurant, and every customer who orders direct can be reached again with specials and offers. We will update this case study with real order numbers once the system is live.
