I met Shyambo at a Tony Robbins event. He offered me a kiwi after one of the breakout sessions, and we started talking. We’ve been brothers ever since. Before this brand, Shyambo served at his Mandir for over five years, having quit his job to devote himself to his faith and his community. That service mindset shaped him, and it’s honestly shaped a piece of how I operate too.

The timing of when he was ready to build The Brighter Mindset mattered. That year, I had committed to 400+ hours of community service on my own craft, helping founders I believed in actually launch the businesses they kept putting off, while I was launching TruPortals and wanted real builders to feel the power of what we were creating. Shyambo’s brotherhood, his service mindset, and his readiness to actually move made him exactly the right person at exactly the right moment. So I told him what I told a small group of founders that year: I got you, when you start making money we’ll figure it out. To be clear, this is not how I work in general. That was a specific, intentional season.
